Bing Austria & The Flippin' Soul Stompers- Rosas Epektos [ vinyl ]

Is it possible to combine John Coltrane, Stevie Wonder, Oxmo Puccino and Duke Ellington? With Inner Songs, Olivier Temime does just that, in the continuity of a cosmopolitan Jazz lineage that is by definition both hybrid and powerful. Feeding off current trends, Temime's Inner Songs at times resemble standards from the Future. "Clickety Clack, won't somebody bring the Spirit back" (Roland Kirk)
