oliver-coates-blue-cvnl-pillion-o-s-t-blue-clear-vinyl
Oliver Coates (Blue) (Cvnl)- Pillion - O.S.T. (Blue) [Clear Vinyl]

Oliver Coates' (Aftersun) score for Harry Lighton's directorial debut Pillion is not what one might expect for a film centered around a BDSM relationship between bikers. The score is restrained and elegant, with piano driven compositions accompanied by spacey synth flourishes and haunting operatic vocals. What results is a romantic electro-classical soundtrack (including a synth rendition of Erik Satie's "Gymnopédie No. 1") that feels akin to flying down an open road on a speeding bike. Starring Harry Melling and Alexander Skarsgård, Pillion releases in the UK on November 28th with a US release early next year.

Tracklist:

Sex ; Bonfire

Parking Warden

Colin's First Ride

Waking Up In Ray's House

Gymnopedie

Ride Bubbles

Subdued Something

After Funeral Nick Roder

Bikesteal

Fleeing Cinema

Breakup

Driveaway

Colin's Computer Strings

Driveaway (Original Piano)

UPC > 617308033441

Format > New Vinyl

Label > A24 Music

Shop online at Darkside Records.

Follow us on Instagram.
